This is a superbwooden mahogany curvedpedimentwith its wonderful carvings of leaves and scrolling of which:

During our research we have been informed it certainlydates from the19th century.

Dates about c1880s.

Of a European origin.

Wooden mahogany.

Made with two sections of mahogany before relief carving.

Superb largepediment with its curved shape.

Centrally theintricate carving with other carvings ofscrolling and leaves.

It hasan overall lengthof about 32inches.

Max depth of about 2inches.

The curve if ends laid flat, centrally has a max depth of about 8.5inches.

So the curve from a flat surface to the first edge of the curve centrally about 6inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent andis not subject to any major blemishes.
