Listed this week is an excellent selection ofSterling and Continental Solid Silver. Some of the features are a large collection of early English, Irish and Scottish Flatware plus a great Victorian 4pc Tea and Coffee Set, a Gorgeous Large Birks Sterling Platter Tray, an early Pair of German Charger Plates and so much more. Up for sale with is a beautiful Victorian Period Silver Plate Tea Urn. The Tea Urn is of very fine quality and quite beautiful with ornate Repousse designs of Flowers, Bows etc. The Urn also features very fine and crisply cast Handles, great Hoof Feet and I absolutely love the Figural Dolphin Spout ! I can not see any markings but the Tea Urn has a very Dutch look and feel to it, though I am told it was purchased by the Estate at an Antique Show as French, so please make up your own mind. The Tea Urn is in very good condition for being well over 100 years old with some light wear the Brass base metal on the high spots but no dents, cracks or repairs. There is also a nice Monogram on the front that is so fancy it could be almost anything you wish :) The Tea Urn is missing the burner but a candle would work just as well and keep your Tea or Coffee hot for hours. The Tea Urn displays beautifully measuring16-1/2 inches tall by7 inches wide overall. The Urn will hold approx 10cups and there are no leaks, but the Tap is seized and will not turn for us. I have sold a lot of English Silver Plate Tea Urns in my time but this one is so much more unique being Continental and I really love it, as I am sure the new owner will as well.
