This is a superb gothic wooden oak letter rack with the gothic winged gargoyle to the front of which:
During our research we have been informed itcertainly dates from the 19th century.

Of a european origin.
A wooden oak wall mounted letter rack with:
the gothic relief carving to the oak front of the winged gargoyle holding acanthus leaves in its clawed feet.
The oak front is mounted onto the wooden pine rear with the flat back.
Opening to the top for letters.
It has an overall sizeof about 8.5 x 6.25inches.
Max depth of about 2.5inches.
Condition: Considering the age, the overall conditionis excellent and is not subject to any major blemishes.
