This is a superb lidded chocolate cup with the hand painted decoration of which:

During our research we have been informed itcertainlydates from the 19th century.

Underneath a mark of a german hand decoration around the circumference of figures in a country setting.

Flower decoration by the handles.

Hand decoration continues to the lid with:

the decorative spigot handle of a flower.

Ithas an overall height of about 4.25inches.

Max overall dia including the handles of about 3.75inches.

Max overall dia of the top of about 3inches.

Dia of base of about 1.5inches.

Condition: Considering theage: the overall conditionis excellent and is without any major blemishes except:

minor nibbles to the rim of the lid and one very minor nibble to the rim of the cup.
