This is a superb very large Minton\'s majolica jardiniere or planter with the basket weave decoration around the circumference with the central bow ofwhich:
During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the 19th century.

Of an English origin.
A very large majolica jardiniere or planter with its wonderful decoration of:
the basket weave decoration around the circumference with:
the central bow.
Majolica turquoise blue colouring.
It has an overall height of about 9inches.
Max overall dia to the top of about 9.75inches.
Base dia of about 7.25inches.
Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to:
any major blemishes except:
has areas to the inner base and external base of unglazed areas which is from the time of manufacture.
a very fine hairline internally with a minor chip externally to the same area.
Areas of staining internally with:
due to age: areas of crazing.
