This isa superb Staffordshire lidded tureen of the nesting duck of which:

During our research we have been informed it certainlydates from the 19th century.

Wonderful colouring and portrayal.

Oval in shape with:

the basket weave base.

It hasan overall height of about 5inches.

Max overall size of the top of the base of about 5.75 x 4.25inches.

Base size of about 5 x 3.5inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to: any major blemishes.
