Hi, thank you for having a look at my sales.Listed this week is what I believe to be my finest antique silver sale I have ever held to date. I have held hundreds of silver estate sales over the years being our specialty. Although this is not my largest sale by volume, I believe this sale has the largest amount of quality and choice examples that I have ever offered at one time. The items are from a prominent and important estate collection that I have been commissioned to liquidate. A large portion of the pieces being offered are family heirlooms. The items listed are from the private family collection of choice examples that were kept over the years in a large walk in vault. I almost fainted when I was invited into the vault and seen this amazing treasure trove! Up for sale with is a superb quality 19th Century Victorian Period Sterling Silver Calling Card Case. The Case is one of the finer quality cases I have sold featuring great Hand Chased and Repousse Castle scenes with other nice Victorian Period designs to both the front and reverse. The chased Building designs are muchmore finely done than my photos show. The Calling Card Case also has a large Chain with Brooch attachment, which I have never seen on a case before and I believe makes this all the more of a Rare find.The Calling Card Case seems to be completely unmarked but I am told is 19th Century and has been tested and guaranteed to be Sterling Silver. The Case is in excellent all original condition witha couple tiny ding marks but no cracks or repairs. The Case displays beautifully measuring 3-1/2\" long by 2-1/4\" wide or 10-1/4\" long total including the Chain and Brooch with a quality combined weight of66 grams.
