Superb 19thc Staffordshire of a nesting hen with two chicks on basket tureen. Dating c.1880.
Excellent attention to detail on this fine tureen. White hen with coloured head sitting on a yellow weave basket. The hen has two chicks sitting either side of the hen.Measures some 5.5\" overall height 5.5\" length at top of basket. Beak to tail feathers the hen measures some 6.25\".

Condition is excellent and age commensurate with one or two minor nibbles to edge of basket and age consistent crazing generally. All as per images.
