Offering from private collection this museum quality antique, around 1700, oil painting supported on canvas depicting young girl wearing a white dress, holding a basket of fruit, All set in a mythological garden with a red setting sun. The details are painted with skill. Her expression is almost Mona-Lisa-like, with a very faint smile. This amazing work is a treat to look at ! A great piece of this genre! Unfortunately I did not find a signature on this work, but a monogram might be hidden somewhere.. On the back a hand written owner label dated 1954. A most interesting work!

Work comes framed in a LARGE (heavy!), wide black colored woodenframe. The details and style are typical. Work is in great condition for its age, further see pics.
