Ca.1900Art Nouveau Glass, Cameo wih Lustre

This listing is for an originalart nouveau glass vase. Made by Galle in Nancy (France) around 1900this piece is signed and measures 14-3/4\" high (37,5 cm) and 5-3/8\"across at the foot (13,5 cm). It features a wonderful sunset landscape scene of trees in blackagainst an orange background, and also has a special iridescent lustreglaze applied to some areas where the glaze takes on a blue color. Thevase is not completely round but slightly flattened. This is a genuinepiece of early Galle glass and in superb condition: no chips, no cracksand no repairs. There is some wear consistent with age but in all abeautiful and magical piece of art nouveau glass!
