A lovely quality antique Victorian English, solid 18 carat gold (hallmarked) mourning ring. Beautifully made, with rounded, tapered, wide band, it\'s decorated with black vitreous enamelling, bears the monogram \'JH\' inlaid with tiny pearls, and flanked by two wonderful sparkling white old mine-cutdiamonds, weighing roughly 20pts between them.The inside of the band is engraved: \'In Memory Of Josiah Hardman\'.It\'s hallmarked for Chester 1891 and isinvery good condition, with a nick and surface wear to the enamel andwear to the pearls\' nacre. It weighs7.8grams, its band measuresbetween 5 and 9 mm wide and its ring size is 7 ½ US / O ½ UK - not resizeable. The final photo shows it with a US penny (1 cent) coinfor scale, which measures19mm/ ¾ of an inchdiameter.
