SUPERB ANTIQUE FRENCH CHURCH LANTERN CHANDELIER DECORATIVE HANGING CHAIN c1890

Please scroll down below description for more pictures.Dating from the late 1800s this beautiful length of decorative chain was originally attached to a church hanging lantern light fitting.
It would now be perfect for any project or to repair a period light fitting.
I have left it just as I found it and it is dark old gold with touches of verdi gris from the passage of time.
Made up of decorative almost tear shaped loops interspersed with filigree balls it is all strong and solid.
The filigree spheres are string and decorative with scrolls and curls.
The overall length is 170cms.
The loops have a diameter of 3cms.
The filigree balls are approx 2cms in diameter.Too good not to find a new life!!
