This is agorgeous mid-19th century French bronze winged angel and oak consolewall bracket. The winged angel is sat ina border of foliage. It possibly camefrom a church but that is my belief, I have no provenance on its origins.
The woodshelf in nicely carved in oak and has two very sturdy metal fixings at the backfrom which to hang it from.
It is inexcellent condition and will polish up a lot more if you wish.
It is35.5cms or 14” in length. The carvedwood shelf measures 34cms (or 13 &3/8”) wide at the rear. It weighs2.040kgs.
It is agreat size and big enough to take a statue or a large candle holder.
