SUPERB ANTIQUE FRENCH TIMEWORN JOAN OF ARC Flag c1900 & REPUBLIQUE FRANCAISE FINIAL

All from the early 1900s and all having been stored away in brown paper tied with string for many years. ( See the last photographs below for the parcel as it was unpacked).
This listing is for a timeworn JEANNE D`ARC Joan of Arc that has a superb repousse toleware Republique Francaise finial.
The Flag is old linen and on old painted pine pole. It has a look of sheer faded grandeur.
The Flag is gently faded with the passage of time and that simply adds to its period appeal. The finial is strong and also carries a timeworn finish.
The printed vignette is beautifully detailed and it still has the old shop label on the pole for MAGASIN GENERAL PARISIENHeight 133cms
Flag 79cms x 55cms.
The Flag is all good and strong with no holes or repairs.
