Splendid Antique Late Victorian Solid Sterling Silver CombinationSovereign & Vesta Case Made ByMinshull & Latimer
Description - Superbrectangular solid silver combination vesta and sovereign case with push button clasp and suspension loop, the vesta has a spring loaded lid and match striker, the case has nice scroll foliate and leaf hand engraving on both sides and has a blank cartouche.
The case is fully hallmarked with the anchor for Birmingham assay, the lion passant indicating 925 grade solid sterling silver, the date letter \"b\" for the year 1901 and the makers mark \"M & L\" which is Minshull & Latimer.
Condition - The case is in excellent condition, there are no dents, dinks, dings, splits, holes and repairs, both hinges and push putton clasp are in excellent working order, the engraving is also in excellent condition.
Dimensions & Weight - The case is 7.1cm long x 2.9cm wide, the weight is 34 grams.
