ITEM: Superb Antique Thomas Shaw, Solid Silver Snuff Box from Birmingham, 1839. .925 Grade Silver with Hallmarks indicating it was created in 1839. A Maker\'s Mark for Thomas Shaw (TS) can been seen inside. There is a Queen\'s Head and an Anchor. Weighs 1.41 oz\'s. Bought it from 41adijames. This is a Thomas Shaw! THIS IS A STEAL! I am taking a huge loss on this.CONDITION: Small dent on top, pushed in on the left of the Cartouche which has a name I cannot make out. Nice working hinge. Closes with a nice contact. Small dent left side. Pressed in and dented on the bottom, like it hit the floor. Small dent on the back side below the hinge. Some discoloration on the inside walls, nothing bad. I dont think it was used that much or it was cleaned regularly. The top is worn like someone rubbed it with a finger, like a worry stone or polished it too much.NOTE: This won\'t get any cheaper.
