Really cool estate find here in Washington, D.C. area .
Rare likely an advance copy (deluxe hardback from 1952 ) of \"MR. PRESIDENT\" Truman\'s FIRST OFFICIAL biography authorized by President Harry Truman during his last year as President in 1952 by author Williiam Hillman.
Book is in nice shape (clean internal pages) and even has a correction Errata Slip enclosed (as seen in my pictures) and was presumed released as an advance copy to one of President Truman\'s Chief Secret Service Agents at The White House, Gerald Behn and acquired at a recent Washington, D.C. estate sale (you can Google Mr. Behn\'s long service in the White House... he later would become the SAIC ~ Special Agent in Charge for President John F. Kennedy in 1961 and often mentioned in many conspiracy theories into the tragic Assassination of President Kennedy in November of 1963) .
Book is nicely inscribed/signed and dated (March 18, 1952) by author William Hillman on the first page (as shown) with a special appreciation for Mr. Behn\'s contribution to this authorized biography of President Truman.
A really cool piece of Presidential history and a must item for the Presidential, Truman or Kennedy collector with amazing association to the Secret Service SAIC at The White House.
