This sale is for an authentic ancient Roman silver/gold brooch dated 100 AD-300 AD (more than 1700 years old). This brooch has a fabulous crossbow design with traces of gold coating and beautiful patina. It is bent has a broken edge and is missing its pin. It is in good condition. Measures 48mm in length. Found in Europe. Ancient soldiers would bury their valuable treasures before a big battle hoping to return later. The items they didn\'t bury were often lost on the battlefield.
