Description A superb heavyEnglish antiquesolid sterling silvercurb-link \"doublealbert\" pocket watch chainby the silversmiths Sydenham Brothers - (1902-1911), in excellentconditionand with English silver hallmarksfor Birmingham 1907.Lovely quality genuine 111 year old chain, all original and complete,has a silver t-bar and 2matchingsecuresilver swivel/dog catches and attached is a beautiful antique faceted topaz crystal fob set in sterling silver claw set mount. Goodheavy silver weight, approx48grams, (in total). A beauty, looks only lightly used.

Measurements Nice long length, measures approx 15.15 inches (386mm) in length, end to end, with a further 1.5 inches on the fob chain.

Date English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver, with silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1907(date letter \"h\") stamped on the t-bar and on both of the swivel/dog catches, so guaranteed all matching.There are lion passant silver hallmark stamps on all of the chain links too. The silver mount on the crystal fob is not marked but is 100% antique solid silver.

Maker Silversmiths initials \"S Bros\", (Sydenham Brothers - 1902 -1911), stamped on the t-bar, on both swivel catches and on the centre chain link.

ConditionExcellent condition,no splits or solder repairs, and with only minor age wear on the chain links, a lovely example. The 2 matching swivel/dog catchesstill work perfectly and have good springs. The faceted crystal fob has no chips or cracks and the silver claw-set mount is undamaged. Very handsome heavysilver watch chain, direct from a private estate.
