Description A superb English antique Edwardiansolid sterling silvercalling/business card case by the silversmith Henry Charles Freeman - 1896-1911, in lovely condition and with full English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1903. Excellent quality genuine 115 year old sterling silver example, (definitely not a modern re-production), with a hinged lidand sprung push button lid opener and is all-over decorated with beautiful embossed cherubs and clouds and has an attractive floral Art Nouveau border. Inside it has its original watered silk partitioned interior with 4 separate complartments.Weighs a heavy99 gramsand as a bonus there are no added personal engraved inscriptions or monograms. The perfect size for holding modern day credit cards.

Measurements Great size, measures approx. 4.15 inches (104mm)x 3.05 inches (77mm) and is 0.5 inches (12mm) deep.

Date English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver, with full English silver hallmarks for Birmingham 1903, (date letter \"d\"). With good matching silver hallmarks on both sides of the case.Maker silversmiths initials \"H.C.F\", (Henry Charles Freeman - 1896-1911).ConditionLovely condition, no splits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs and nonasty knocks or dents, just a couple of very minor teeny pin-head bruises, truly nothing at all and a very nice example. The lid opens and closes tightly and securely and inside, the green silk partitioned interior is original and still in great condition, only minor age related wear in the recesses. The embossed cherub decoration still has excellent detail, and has not been worn away from over-polishing.
