This is a quite stunning gothic wooden oak panel with the relief carving of the olive tree with the olives, leaves and other of which:

During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the early 18th century.

Dates about c1720s.

Of a european origin, probably english.

It was part of a recent church clearance which had many religious items of interest.

This would have been displayed in the church.

Carved panel with the plain oak around the circumference 25 x 12.75inches.

Darker area of about 20.5 x 10inches.

Max depth of about 1inch.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to any major blemishes except.

Rough areas to the sides.

Due to age: Is subject to areas of splits.
