Youare offerding on a WONDERFUL 19cburr walnutantique restored and repolished document/jewellery box. Dates approximately 1810/1850.

FULLY LOCKS

InWONDERFUL restored condition.

There is no missing or replaced veneer just a few very tiny nibble repairs which are nothing. This is quite an old box for its style. Many of these do not survive, this one is in pretty good restored condition. Very few of this are about today.

Original ebony cartouche keyhole escutcheon.

Difficultto appreciate until you see it in front of you.

Boxretains the original lock minus one locking pin, originaltop catch and hinges. Supplied with a silk tasseland Victorian key that FULLY LOCKS the box. slightly fiddly but does the job very well. Instruction given once sold.
