This is a quite superb miniature Staffordshire seated greyhound dog of which:

During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the early period of the 19th century.

Staffordshire, England portrayal of the seated greyhound dog with the blue collar.

Mounted onto the oval hollow base with the blue band to the front.

It has an overall height of about 3.5inches.

Hollow base with overall size ofabout 1.5 x 1inch.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is excellent and is without blemish.
