A truly outstanding quality piece dating to the early/mid part of the 19th Century (Circa 1830-1850)
The piece has a fabulous rich figured Burr walnut patination, the upper section having a three quarter sided Brass gallery surrounded by a shaped top andencompassed byquality Marquetry &Parquetryinlay, rising above the original glass display door, and revealing once opened two sheet music storage shelves, the display door of which is cross banded and retaining a working key.
Thecabinethas delightful acanthus carved & turned upright pilasters, cross banded side panels, a wide plinth base and terminating in four ceramic casters.
