Description A beautiful decorative English antique19th CenturyVictorian solid sterling silver\"novelty\" sewing needle/pin box in the form of a piano stool by the silversmith Edwin Thompson Bryant- (1889-1907),and with a full set of English silver hallmarks for London 1891. Lovely quality genuine 127 year old sterling silver box, in excellent condition, superb novelty design with a hinged silver lidand resting on 4 ornate silver cabriole legs. It is all-over decorated with an embossed figural scene with scroll-work, and inside it is complete with its originalcleanundamaged fully gilded interior. Weighs 28 grams and as a bonus there areno added personal engraved inscriptions or monograms. A very nice example.

MeasurementsMeasures approx. 2.25inches (56mm) x 1.4 inches (34mm) (including legs), and is 1.4 inches (36mm) in height.

Date English antique 19th Century Victorian solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks forLondon 1891(date letter \"Q\"). Superb clear struck matching marks on box and lid and includes the extra letter \"F\" stamp denoting imported silver. Further stamped with a set of Dutch silver hallmarks on the base.

Maker Silversmiths initials \"E.T.B\", (Edwin Thompson Bryant- 1889-1907).

ConditionExcellent conditionwith no splits or repairs, definitely no wear holes and no knocks or dents,a beautiful clean silver box.The silver hinged lid works perfectly opening and closing securely and the interior gilding is original and is pristine. Lovely novelty \"piano stool\" design and there areno added engraved inscriptions or monograms.
