Description A superb genuine Englishantique Edwardian solid sterling silverdome-topped playingcard boxby the silversmiths Grey & Co - (1909-1914) and with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Chester 1910.Excellentquality original108 year old sterling silverexample, in lovely condition, with a domed hingedsilver lid and with an attractive smooth polished finish.Inside it has a centre partition and is complete with 2matching genuine vintagedecks of decorative Austrian Piatnik & Sons playing cards, all complete, (includes thejokers). Good silver weight, 60 grams, (excluding cards), and as a bonus there are no added personal engraved monograms or inscriptions, nothing erased.

MeasurementsMeasures approx. 3.1 inches (77mm)in height x 2 inches (50mm)wide and is 1.65 inches (41mm) deep.

Date English antique Edwardian solid sterling silver with a full set of English silver hallmarks for Chester 1910(date letter \"K\"). Excellent clear hallmark stampson box and there are further matching marks on the lid.

MakerSilversmiths initials \"Gy & Co\", (Grey & Co - 1909-1914).

ConditionLovelycondition, and ready to be used. Nosplits or cracks to the silver, definitely no wear/pin holesand no nasty knocks or dents, a very nice silver box. The silver lid hinge works perfectly, opening and closing tightly and securely and the2matching genuine vintagedecks of decorative playing cards, are all complete and include all the jokers.
