A superb large heavy solidsterling silver pint tankard. It is hallmarked for London 1892 with the maker’smarks being GMJ for Josiah Williams & Co (George Maudsley Jackson). It has a simple yet stylish. The front has been superbly engraved with puzzle monograms and dated 1894. It is in perfect condition being freefrom dings splits and repairs and the inside is clean and usable. It measures 5inches (12.6cms) tall by approx. 5 inches (13cms) wide including the handle andholds one English pint. It is as mentioned made from thick gauge silver and assuch weighs 301 grams. A top quality very well-made example.
