This isa superbgilt bronzelampwith the dolphin & shell cover/shade ofwhich:

During our research we have been informed itcertainly dates from theearly period of the 19th century and isof a european origin.

Dates from the Georgian period:c1820s.

Barley twist stem with handle, mounted on a decorative circular base.

Dolphin with a key which can move up & down the stem and can be locked in position, using the key.

A nautical shell or shade which can go up and down and remain in a require position.

Dolphin has two burners to the front, which would be filled with an oil and lit.

Intricate overall decoration and detailing.

It has an overall heightof about 6.25inches.

Overall base diaof the base ofabout 2.25inches.

Length of dolphin of about 3.75inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall conditionis excellentand iswithoutany major blemishes.
