Hi, thank you for having a look at my items. This week we have listed over 100 Sterling Silver, Continental Solid Silver and Glass sales. You just never see this many great and rarely seen fresh estate pieces like this come up for sale all at once. Up for sale with is a superb quality Antique Continental Solid Silver Teapot Service in it's original fitted presentation or traveling case. The Tea Service is one of the most beautiful I have seen with amazing large Roses and Flowers finely Etched throughout. I also love the form of the pots all featuring great Cannon Ball feet and Ox Bone insulators on the Teapot, which is always a sign of the finest quality. The service is also fully marked for the fine Period German Silversmith Wilhelm Binder. The insides of the Cream and Sugar also still retain 99% of the original Rich Gold Gilt, I doubt the service was ever really used. The Service is a nice size for use by a single person with the Teapot measuring approx 5" tall by 5-3/4" long and holding 1 cup and the Cream Jug is 2-1/2" tall with the Sugar Bowl measuring 2-1/2" wide across the handles. As I said I doubt the set was ever really used and it is in amazing all original condition with no dents, cracks etc. The Set also feels great in your hands with a quality combined weight of 315 grams of Solid 800 Grade (80% Pure) Silver.
