A stunning Persian high gradesilver cigarette case. It is hallmarked with the Persian silver standard mark andmaker’s marks. I would date it to the early 20thcentury. It hasbeen beautifully hand-made being superbly engraved with flowers and birds onone side and flowers deer and birds on the other. It is in super conditionbeing free from dings splits holes and repairs. It is a large sized example measuringover 5.25 inches (13.5cms) by almost 3.25 inches (8cms). It is made from very thickgauge silver and as such weighs an impressive 203 grams. A superbly made topquality example.
