A very fine group of GENUINE news journals and newspapers on Abe Lincoln., three newspapers, one dated from NYC Nov. 2, 1864, Two full newspapers from Indianapolis with personal hand written note at the top of each one...\"Paper sent from Camp Morton, by John\" Newspapers very good with no odors., and as issued to the newsboys on the street. The New York Times with 8 pages, other two with four pages dated Nov. 18th, 19th, 1864.

The very scarce lot of Harper\'s Weekly., showing John Wilkes Both, Lincoln with his son, and Frank Leslie\'s Illustrated Newspaper, April 29, 1865. [ Leslie was patterned after Harpers], this issue of Leslie devoted to the Assassination of Lincoln. Once folded as store., as issued to the public and not from a bound volume. As are the two Harper Weekly issues dated April 29, 1865, May 6, 1865, each with 16 pages.

Please review our pics below for a good idea as to their contents., nothing but the end of the Civil War, and the Assassination of the President. Very valuable collection. All items very good, no odors., the John Wilkes Booth issue has a tear on Booth repaired using archival acid free mending....page outer edges with small fraying from being handled and read.
