Superb large 19thc Staffordshire figure of a Scottish hunter with dog and stag.Excellent attention to detail. Scottish hunter with hunting horn. Dressed in traditional attire with plumed hat and cobalt blue tunic. The hunter is kneeling on the back of a white stag and his black and white hound jumps up at his side. Bocage decorating. Lovely facial detail to the hunter with individually painted eyebrows, blue eyes and a beard.Measures some 14.25\" height.

Condition is excellent and age commensurate. Firing crack to underside of dog\'s belly which runs along top of the stag\'s hind area. This is original to the firing and not damage. All as per images.
