SUPERB LARGE ANTIQUE VICTORIAN QUATREFOIL DESIGN ENGRAVED SILVER BROOCH PIN:

This is a beautiful large antique Victorian Scottish agate circular quatrefoil domed design brooch with superbly engraved bordering and set in sterling silver.The stones used are mustard jasper and red jasper from the Campsie Fells,green and red speckled bloodstone from the Isle of Rum and grey banded Montrose agates.The stones are all in excellent condition,any black lines are just natural markings in the stone.There are two tiny holes in the central circular bezel and the hinge to the reverse has been repaired - this has been done well and is very solid and secure.The size is 45mm or 1&3/4 inches.The hinge,C clasp and pin are all in perfect working order.
The silver is unmarked but tested and guaranteed sterling silver.
