Description Asuperblarge, heavy English antique Victorian solid sterling silvertable snuff box by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company, in lovely condition and with a full set of English silver hallmarks forLondon 1900.Excellent quality genuine 115 year old silver box, (not a small pocket-sized box), with a hinged lid and decorated with attractive embossed reeding and with protruding crimped border edge rims to assist lid opening. Inside it still has its original gilding too.There are no added engraved personal inscriptions or monograms.Fine heavy box, weighs approx 100 grams.

MeasurementsGreat size, measures approx.4.95 inches (123mm)x1.95 inches (46mm) and is1.5 inches (38mm) deep.

ConditionLovely condition,nosplits or cracks to the silver, no solder repairs, definitely no wear/pin holes and no nasty knocks or dents, a nice clean example. Handsome largetable size and a nice heavy weight. The hinged silver lid works perfectly and the lid opens and closes securely. The interior gilding is original, it ismostly all still intact, just slight snuff residue in the corners. Beautiful quality andwith no added personal engraved inscriptions.
