Description A really superb large-sizedmatching pair of genuine English antique Victorian solid sterling silver candelabra by the silversmiths Hawksworth, Eyre & Co and with full English silver hallmarks forSheffield 1899/1900.Excellent quality original116 year old sterling silver pair, beautiful size with a handsome 18th Century Georgian shape, can be used as either single candlesticks or branched candelabra. Complete with all 6 original removable solid silver sconces, they have weighted bottoms for stabilityand with probably the original black leatherette covering on the undersides. With no added engraved personal inscriptions or monograms.Veryheavy pair, they weigh approx. 2062grams, (total weight). The 2 branches weigh 780 grams (over 25 troy ounces), on their own.

MeasurementsLarge size, each measures approx. 11.15inches (280mm) inches in height and are 9 inches (225mm) wide.

Date English antiqueVictorian solid sterling silver with a full set of silver hallmarks for Sheffield 1899 (date letter \"g\"), on one candelabra, the other has the date letter \"h\" for Sheffield 1900. Guaranteed all original and complete. There are further matching hallmarks on one of the branches and also on every candle sconce. All nice clear marks.
