Superb large antique hand made Belgian Duchesse and Point de Gaze lace Bertha collar in a warm ecru, not pink as may appear in the photos... Displayed in reversible form, this large collar features an ornate floral motif with greenery and scrollwork, and is finished off with intervally placed Point de Gaze lace inserts, and a scalloped edge all around. Measures ~6in across, ~39in around the inside edge, ~82in around the outside edge, and finished all around. Appears hardly used. In overall excellent condition with age yellowing, and a rare scraggly thread. Though none are noted, there may be a rare broken bride. Please enlarge photos for details.
