A superb example and a rare find!

Dated 1866 in pencil and has animporters label to America

The front cover inlaid with stunning kingwood, mother of pearl andbrass inlay ‘Boulle’ decoration

The back cover inlaid with kingwood quarter cut veneer and brass inlaidstringing

It has a tooled red leather spine with gilded decoration

Secured by two clasps (sadly one clasp is missing) but the remainingone works well.

It comes with 27 original period photos with space for many many more

The last photo in the album dated 1900!

The edges of the card / paper for the photos is gilded, a great sign ofquality and a very expensive item in itsday. Circa 1866.
