This is a superb Sunderland Ware lustre wall plaque with the transfer print of the Turkish landscapeof which:

During our research we have been informed itcertainly dates from the mid 19th century.

Dates about c1840s.

Underneath the incised mark of Dixon & Co of Sunderland.of England.

Sunderland Ware lustre wall plaquewith:

the pink lustre ware colouring with the gold lustre around the edge of the circumference.

Centrally has a printed transfer of:

the Tturkish landscape.

It has an overall sizeof about 8.5 x 7.5inches.

Max depth of about 1.25inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall conditionis excellent and is not subject to any major blemishes.
