This is a superb Imperial Russian porcelain tea cup & saucer with the hand painted gilt decorationof which:

During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the mid 19th century.

Dates c1860s.

Underneath both pieces: an Imperial Russian mark.

Of a russian origin.

Porcelain.

Tea cup & saucer with:

Cobalt blue cup with the hand painted decoration of gilt around the circumference.

Gilt decoration of a band to the inner rim.

Matching saucer with the cobalt blue to the circumferences edge with intricate gilt decoration.

Tea cup has an overall height of about 2.25inches.

It has an overall max overall max dia inc the decorative handle of about 4.25inches.

Base dia of about 1.5inches.

Dia of saucer of about 5.75inches.

Base dia of about 3.75inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is excellent and is not subject to:

any major blemishes.
