This is a superb large Staffordshire scottish Wiliam Wallace male figurine in full highland dress ofwhich:

During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from the mid 19th century.

A large Staffordshire scottish male figure of William Walace.

Embossed Wallace to the base with rubbing to the gilt.

Wonderful portrayal of the scottish male figure in full highland dress attire of kilt, sporran and stockinged feet.

Plumed hat.

He holds a shield & other.

Mounted onto the decorative large oval hollowed base.

The hollowed base has an overall size of about 8 x 3.25inches.

It hasan overall heightof about 17.25inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is good and is subject to:

a continuous hairline around the front of the hat with a chip in the same area with: a chip to the rear of the hat.

a series of fine hairlines centrally to the rear.

due to age: overall fine crazing with rubbing & loss of colour.
