This is a superb Staffordshire of the male & female figurines of which:

During our research we have been informed it certainlydates from the mid 19th century.

Dates about c1860s.

A wonderful portrayal of the figurines.

A boy figure with baby birds.

Young female figurine with the apron full of fruits.

Girls arm around the shoulders of the boy.

Both in wonderful dress attire with:

both having intricate facial detailing.

Mounted onto the decorative coloured base with the bocage decoration.

It has an overall height of about 7.5inches.

Max basesize ofabout 4.25 x 2inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is:

very good and is subject to: early restoration to the rear with the change of colour.

A minor glaze chip under the base edge.

Has a firing crack from time of manufacture to the hat of the boy.

Due to age: overall fine crazing.
