A large Staffordshire scottish huntsman figure.
Portrayed leaning on a bough.
Wonderful facial features with the moustache.
He wears a kilt, stocking feet, cobalt jacket, cape with ermine decoration to the edge, a scottish beret.
To his side: the black & white hunting dog with its front paw on the huntsman thigh.
Mounted onto the decorative naturalistic base with:
Areas of bocage which continue upwards.
It hasan overall height of about 14.25inches.
Max overall size of the hollowed base of about 6.75 x 3.5inches.
Max dia of about 8inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall conditionis good and and is not subject to:
any major blemishes except:
an early area of restoration to the nose of the hunting dog.
a small and minor hairline under the base centrally.
