This is a superbStaffordshireof the pair of figures with the bearded goat &spill vase ofwhich:

During our research we have been informed it certainly dates from themid 19th century.

Dates c1860s.

Wonderful portrayal of the pair of figures of the seated male & standing female.

Both portrayed in wonderfuldress attire withhats.

To the base: the recumbent bearded goat.

Spill vaseto the rear above the head of the male.

Porcellaneous.

A superb portrayal of thefigures & the recumbent bearded goat with its horns.

Bocage decoration to base, centreand to the top area.

Ovaldecorative hollowed base with anoverall sizeof about 4 x 2.5inches.

It hasan overall heightof about 7.5inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition is very good and isnot subject to any major blemishes except:

a fine hairline around the ankle of the male figure.

Due to age:areas of discolouring with areas of fine crazing.

Rubbing to the gilt band to the front.

All as per pictures.

Besides being a very collectable,mid 19th century Staffordshire pair of figures, male & female with the recumbent goat & spill vase, c1860s,would also look fabulous displayed.
