This isa superb Staffordshire royal figure of Prince Albert on horseback in military uniformof which:

On a horse facing right, in cocked hat, military jacket with epaulettes, a sash over his right shoulder and trousers. His right hand is on the horses rump, and he holds the reins in his right hand.

Mounted onto the decorative hollowed base with raised text: ALBERT.

Wonderful detailed facial features.

The horse with the raised front rear foot.

It has an overall height of about 9.5inches.

Max overall size of the hollowed base of about 5.5 x 2.25inches.

Max overall dia of about 7inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall conditionissubject to:

an early repair around the circumference of the neck with the remounting of the head to the body.

Early restoration to the horses raised leg at the top.

has a couple of firing cracks to the horses tail at the rear from time of manufacture with similar to the horses neck at the rear.

A chip to the edge of the hat with:

a hairline to the front of the base which travels underneath and to the rear edge.

Due to age: areas of loss of colour.
