Text of: Benjamin Disraeli who served Queen Victoria as a brilliant prime minister was also a great dandy and paid special attention to his hair, always sporting a carefully groomed central forehead curl.

Consequently the affectionate name \"Disraeli\" has endeared itself to this particular model amongst dealers and collectors as means of identification when searching for this rare model.

Date confirmed as mid 19th century: c1850.

A wonderful portrayal of the seated Disraeli seated spaniel dog with:

the black & white decoration and facial detailing.

Pottery.

Gilt collar, lock and chain.

It has an overall height of about 9inches.

Max basesizes ofabout 6.25 x 4.25inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition is excellent with no major blemishes except:

a hairline to the rear by the neck area and to the front which continues downwards by the chain .

A very minor chip to the base edge by the tail.

Due to age: areas of rubbing to the facial area and gilt areas.
