This isa superb Staffordshire figurine group of the black & white dog chasing the deer, a bird with a nest of eggs with the decorative spill vaseof which:
During our research we have been informed it certainlydates from the mid 19th century.

Black & white hunting dog chasing deer with the antlers.
Deer leaping over a gate.
To the base area, a coloured bird with a nest of eggs.
To the rear, the decorative tree with branches with: to the top the spill vase.
Lots of coloured bocage decoration.
Intricate overall detailing.
Mounted onto the decorative hollowed base with:
the decoration of a bridge with a stream.
Between the dog & the bird, a quill holder.
It hasan overall height of about 7.75inches.
Max overall size of the hollow base of about 5.5 x 2.5inches.
Max overall dia of about 6inches.
Condition: Considering the age: the overall conditionis very good and is not subject to:
any major blemishes except:
there is a small chip to the base edge to the rear side.
Deer has a chip to an antler with:
the bird having a couple of chips to the same wing.
Due to age: rubbing to the colours with:
again: due to age, overall fine crazing.
