Superb mid 19thc Staffordshireporcellanous figure ofa girl sitting on dog\'s back. Dating c1855.

Excellent attention to detail on this fine early model.Theblack and white spanielisbeautifully modelled with separate front leg. Wonderful face with long snout and wearing a gilt collar to neck. Thegirl sitson the dog\'s back. Sheis dressed in cobalt blue top with a colourful skirt and pantaloons.

Measures some 7\" height x 4.25\" long at base.

Condition is excellentand age commensurate overall with a hairline to girl\'s writs and with some superficial age hairlines to back of piece. Some minorage paint flaking. See all images please.
