I\'m having an absolute clearout of my attic and finally selling my family\'s collectables;(sadly another relative passed away at Christmas and hence the current round of listings...Happy hunting!

You are offerding for my Aunts SUPERB Original ANTIQUE late 19thC, early 20thC hand crafted and hand hammered-dimpled COPPERED TIN COFFEE POT AND HINGED COVER.

VERY MUCH IN THE STYLE OF THE Arts & Crafts Movement so popular during this period, little touches like the handle end terminating in a heart shaped lozenge and the dimpled effect point towards the Arts & Crafts, yet the pot also has a curiously Eastern arabic tone to it. The impressed number 2 on the handle is suggestive of the fact that this coffee pot formed a part of a larger series of identical shaped pots of different sizes, which throws me back to the Arts 7 Crafts movement...Over to you to muse on these issues.
