This is a superb pair of majolica green plates with the leaves around the outer circumference, edge ofwhich:

During our research we have been informed they certainly date from the 19th century.

Date about c1880s.

Unmarked but certainly of an English origin.

Majolica plates with their wonderful decoration of:

the leaves to the outer edge.

Decorative edges.

Each has an overall height of about 0.75inches.

Each has an overall max dia of about 8.75inches.

Base dias of about 5.75inches.

Condition: Considering the age, the overall condition to the pair is excellent and both are not subject to:

any major blemishes except: ageing.
