This isa superb pair of Meissen seated pug dogs with the separate front legs and portrayed with rattles ofwhich:

During our research we have been informed they certainlydate from the 19th century.

Date about c1880s.

One with an incised mark underneath of a number, we have been informed they are of a Meissen origin and after J. Kandler.

Of a German origin.

A left and a right.

A male and female which can be confirmed from being observed underneath.

Porcelain, china.

Intricate overall facial detailing.

Well coloured.

Both portrayed seated with the separate front legs.

Decorative white collar decorated with blue centrally around the circumferences, both with rattles and:

bow to the rears.

Each hasan overall height of about 5inches.

Max overall size of about 6.5 x 2.75inches.

Condition: Considering the age: the overall condition to both is excellent and both are not subject to:

any major blemishes.

All as perpictures.
